DAY 1: Lakes, Castles and Whisky Distilleries!
Regions: Glasgow, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, Argyll.
We’re going to show you the wonders of Scotland! We’re setting off for Glasgow, Scotland’s most populous city and an industrial hub par excellence, but it’s well worth a stop to see a Gothic gem! Its cathedral is truly impressive. St Mungo’s Cathedral was consecrated in the 12th century, and it was from here that the city of Glasgow emerged and expanded, becoming one of the most important cities in the whole of the United Kingdom. Furthermore, Glasgow Cathedral is the only one in Scotland to have survived the Reformation of 1560 intact! It is the very epitome of the Scottish Gothic style! Right, once we’ve marvelled at this incredible building—and we certainly will—we’ll recharge our batteries; we’ll show you a beautiful Scotch whisky distillery: the best in the world and the birthplace of “water of life”, as the ancient Celts called it! This is by no means all; there are many more beautiful stops along the way. We’ll show you a real hidden gem: an ancient secret site where Pictish druids held their covens and secret gatherings. We’ll walk along the shores of the largest lake in the whole of the United Kingdom: Loch Lomond, right in the heart of Scotland’s second-largest national park, the Trossachs. After Luss, a magnificent Scottish village, we still have to visit the magnificent Inveraray Castle, as well as the ruins on Loch Awe – a typical postcard view of Scotland – and we’ll arrive in Oban, the picturesque bay that serves as the gateway to the wonderful Hebrides, which you can explore in depth with us on another of our magnificent tours if you wish. For today, we’ll have dinner and rest here in Oban!

DAY 2: Lakes, Castles and Mountains!
Regions: Glencoe Valley and Stirlingshire!
Well, after our well-deserved rest, our second day is truly amazing too, offering a different flavour of Scotland but one that is truly impressive, as we are going to visit some of Scotland’s greatest tourist gems, such as the mighty fortress of Stirling Castle, the twin of Edinburgh Castle but of greater royal and historical significance to Scotland; it is a landmark for the country. It was in this castle that Mary Stuart, ‘Queen of Scots’, was crowned, and it served as the headquarters for Robert the Bruce during the so-called ‘Scottish Wars of Independence’; these are the two most important figures in Scottish history, who dedicated their lives to defending their country against England’s desire to conquer it. Many Scottish kings and queens were crowned and died at Stirling Castle, but it was also the capital of Scotland before the marvellous Edinburgh, and the two most famous battles in Scotland took place in these surroundings, including the Battle of the ‘Stirling Bridges’ with William Wallace. Well, as well as this wonderful visit where we’ll feel just like kings and queens, we’ll be crossing the most beautiful valley in Alba: the Valley of Tears, or Glen Coe. We’ll tell you the story of the MacDonald clan, Before reaching Edinburgh, we’ll see the Dochart Waterfalls or Doune Castle, where episodes of ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Outlander’ were filmed. Whilst reliving the bygone era of knights and legends, we’ll also see the ruins of Linlithgow Palace, home of the Stuarts and the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots! We hope that the Scottish past, which still lives on here and which you have been able to feel, will bring you back with us to this wonderful ancestral land of legend!

The two options are subject to availability and options of the beautiful towns to visit. Especially in wonderful Scotland, our B&B and Guest House selection are at the same level of quality and comfort within our excellent selection, being able to be even more comfortable than a hotel, although a hotel offers more services such as restaurant or bar. Depending on the availability on the dates of the contracted services, the accommodation may be located at a greater or lesser distance from the local centre or even in the closest locations with availability, without thereby stopping any content of the program or itinerary, therefore, the longer the reservation is in advance, the better the conditions and situation of the accommodation, as is usual in the tourism sector due to the supply, demand and dates.
