DAY 1: Incredible Scenery and Castles!
Regions: Perthshire and the Cairngorms National Park.
Ready? Well, let’s get started – we’re going to experience Scotland like a local, visiting the most stunning and iconic sights of the wonderful Land of the Morning Sun, but from a local perspective and with a unique itinerary. We’ll start almost without leaving Edinburgh, the capital of this legendary country, stopping at the beautiful little village of South Queensferry, a former landing point for the Queen’s Ferry – as its name suggests – which she used to travel from North Queensferry in the Kingdom of Fife to Edinburgh. Here stand the three enormous bridges of the Firth of Forth, and thanks to its impressive structure, one of them is a World Heritage Site! This lovely village could well be a small Highland hamlet, given the characteristics we’re about to see. Well, we have almost the whole day ahead of us and many gems that could have been plucked from a fairy tale, but they’re real – this is SCOTLAND!
We’re heading to the largest national park in Alba, which is inhospitable in many places but incredibly beautiful. We’ll see the little royal village of Dunkeld, visit an enchanted forest, and the beautiful Pitlochry – a quintessential tourist town thanks to its stunning Victorian-era charm – the grand, white Blair Castle with its woodland, deer and gardens, which could well be the home of the fairies from a fairy tale, and the picturesque village of Braemar, as well as the Queen’s View, known as the most beautiful in Scotland. We will travel through truly unforgettable landscapes before ending our day in the capital of the Highlands, Inverness, watched over by its imposing castle!

DAY 2: Heaven; The Isle of Skye!
Regions: The legendary Loch Ness and the Isle of Skye!
A second, legendary day; coming to Scotland and not visiting Loch Ness or the Isle of Skye is something you’d never forgive yourselves for, and visiting both on the same day is like visiting heaven! The touches of green and beautiful landscapes we have gathered and combined for you on this incredible and unique day are simply stunning; it is a truly breathtaking tour, designed with the utmost devotion inspired by this incredible, picture-perfect country – and that’s no exaggeration. In Scottish Gaelic, ‘Alba’ is a country made up of some 790 islands and islets; these are formations and mountain ranges that you have to see to believe, given these stunning images. For all these reasons, Scotland—and specifically the mysterious Isle of Skye—has been chosen as a location for historical films such as: ‘Chariots of Fire’, “James Bond 007”, “Highlander”, “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword” or directors such as Steven Spielberg. Not only will we sail across the deep and mysterious Loch Ness, which stretches over 36 km in length, but we will also disembark and explore the ancient Urquhart Castle, before passing through historic battlefields such as the Shiel Valley and the Kintail Estate, to reach the bucolic Isle of Skye and explore virtually the whole of it; from its distillery producing the world’s finest whisky, ‘Scotch’, to the stunning views and mountains of Quiraing, Kilt Rock, Neist Point, the Old Man of Storr, and the beautiful town of Portree with its bay lined with colourful cottages, where we’ll dine and rest on this incredible, picture-perfect island!

DAY 3: Stunning Lakes and Castles!
Regions: Lochaber and Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park!
Baffled by so much natural beauty, aren’t you? We hope so, but there’s even more in store today! We’ll start with a hearty Scottish breakfast to build up our strength, and let the dawn touch us deep within our souls – you’ll never forget it! No visitor ever does, we can assure you of that. Today’s itinerary would be equally unforgivable to miss, so you’re going to experience it: green valleys and imposing mountains, such as the landscape of Glen Coe or the Valley of Tears, the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct and its lake featured in ‘Harry Potter’; Historically significant for the landing of Prince Bonnie, Charles Edward Stuart, during the Jacobite Wars, Fort William serves as the hub of the Caledonian Canal, which links the Scottish North Sea with the Atlantic Ocean, crossing the entire country and lying at the foot of Ben Nevis, the romantic Eilean Donan Castle, accessible only on foot via a medieval bridge and featured on the cover of most of the Scottish Tourist Board’s publications, and occupied by Spanish regiments in the 18th century; or the largest lake in the whole of the United Kingdom, the magnificent Loch Lomond – these will leave such a lasting impression on you that, well, you’ll find it hard to wake up from this dream come true, and we’ll be here in Alba, the land of legends, waiting for you to visit us again! It’s been a pleasure sharing this with you!

- Accommodation: at “ScotlandTrips International” our selection of usual accommodation is above the average in the same rating scales that other companies offer. The two options are subject to availability and options of the beautiful towns to visit. Especially in wonderful Scotland, our B&B and Guest House selection are at the same level of quality and comfort within our excellent selection, being able to be even more comfortable than a hotel, although a hotel offers more services such as restaurant or bar. Depending on the availability on the dates of the contracted services, the accommodation may be located at a greater or lesser distance from the local centre or even in the closest locations with availability, without thereby stopping any content of the program or itinerary, therefore, the longer the reservation is in advance, the better the conditions and situation of the accommodation, as is usual in the tourism sector due to the supply, demand and dates.
- Possibility of 5-star luxury accommodation and personalized tours: see supplements.
